Mitchell
Let
Heidi know about member news and she’ll get it to the media.

Legislative Committee – Judith Lonergan
Carolyn
Gargasz helped with tracking the two bills, later
brought to the floor. NHAVA members
testified. Bob Bussey offered statistics
on how many citizens cannot make doctor’s appointments, etc. The question was
asked whether Bob could share that information with all members. That the transportation bill did not make it
to the floor was a surprise. Deborah is
trying to come up with another bill. NHAVA
members need to educate on the great need for transportation. Robin Albert thanked Judith, and Don Chesnel
for their e-mails to keep NHAVA members informed. Robin
asked whether one of the meetings could be a legislative educational meeting. Legislative Committee will plan a program to
review laws; etc. from which we all can learn something new.
